Sacred Seed brings together ceremonialists, bodyworkers, sound healers, and integration guides, all with years of experience in plant medicine and transformational healing.
Gabriel Cucalón, our holistic director, serves as your primary guide and connection point, designing your retreat and ensuring every element serves your specific needs.
Gabriel has spent over a decade bridging cultures and facilitating medicine work between the foregneirs and Ecuador.
He's your translator, your advocate, and your link to the local Indigenous medicine keepers we work with guardians of these medicines who carry these traditions with deep respect.

SACRED ALCHEMY
1-1 Retreat
A private retreat designed entirely around you.
Unlike our group offerings, Sacred Alchemy is an intimate 1-on-1 experience where every element—from the medicines we work with to the pace of your days—is curated based on a deep conversation about where you are and what you're seeking. This isn't a pre-set itinerary. It's a living container that adapts to your needs.
Not all medicines serve the same purpose. Huachuma opens the heart and connects you to the land. Ayahuasca reveals what's hidden beneath the surface. Psilocybin offers gentle insight and emotional release. Tobacco clears, protects, and grounds. We don't prescribe—we listen, then guide you to the plant teachers that match your moment.
You'll be held by Gabriel Cucalón and other experienced facilitators who've walked the medicine path for many years. Gabriel serves as the bridge between worlds, having lived in both the US and Ecuador, he holds space with cultural sensitivity and deep integrity. Together, they create a container where you receive not just the medicine, but the full support needed to integrate its teachings.
Who is Sacred Seed?
Sacred Seed is a retreat space and healing collective based in Vilcabamba, Ecuador. We create intimate, high-integrity experiences rooted in ancestral medicine and Earth-based wisdom.
Our focus is on providing a safe, grounded, and deeply supportive container for healing, remembrance, and personal transformation—guided by the land, sacred plants, and practitioners who've earned the trust of the local medicine keepers.
Gabriel is your connection to the land, the local shamans, and the ancestral medicine practitioners we work with. When appropriate, we bring in master plant teachers like Taita Tsentsak, a Shuar elder shaman, and La Caracola, a local medicine woman from Loja, Ecuador.
For Sacred Alchemy, the container is designed for one person (or a couple). This means undivided attention, complete flexibility, and the freedom to go as deep as you need without considering anyone else's process.
Your retreat is entirely custom.
Unlike our group retreats with fixed itineraries, Sacred Alchemy is designed during our discovery call based on your specific needs, intentions, and the time you have available. Some guests come for 3 days with a single Ayahuasca ceremony and focused integration. Others stay for 7-10 days, working with multiple plant teachers—Huachuma for heart opening, Ayahuasca for shadow work, Psilocybin for gentle release, Tobacco for clearing and protection.
What you can expect: Private accommodations at Finca LaSofia, all meals prepared according to your medicine diet requirements, ceremonies with master plant teachers and Indigenous medicine keepers, daily integration sessions with Gabriel and other facilitators, nature immersions to sacred sites in the valley, access to steam bath and cold plunge, bodywork and sound healing as needed, airport pickup and drop-off, plus three post-retreat integration calls over three months to help you anchor the work into your daily life.
The rhythm, practices, and medicines are chosen together—not from a menu, but from a genuine conversation about where you are and what wants to emerge. This is precision healing, not a preset package.
Investment starts at $2,500 USD for a 3-day retreat. Final pricing depends on the length of your stay, number of ceremonies, specific medicines, and any additional modalities requested.

Private accommodations at Finca LaSofia. As a Sacred Alchemy guest, you receive your own private room with comfortable bedding, linens, and a peaceful sanctuary to rest and integrate between ceremonies. This is your space—undisturbed, quiet, and held just for you.
Investment and payment structure:
Because each Sacred Alchemy retreat is custom-designed, the final investment is determined during your discovery call based on the length of your stay, number of ceremonies, specific medicines, and additional modalities requested.
We require a 50% deposit to secure your retreat dates.
The remaining 50% is due 14 days before your arrival.
This approach ensures your space is reserved while giving you time to prepare financially and energetically for your journey.
For couples or those traveling with a partner: Private retreats can be designed for two people. Pricing and accommodations will be discussed during your discovery call based on whether you're both participating in ceremonies or if one person is there for support.

We deeply respect your time, energy, and commitment to this sacred journey — and in return, we ask for the same. This cancellation policy exists to honor the integrity of the retreat container and the logistical realities involved in creating these transformational experiences.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL:
We understand that life happens. However, when you reserve your space, we immediately incur costs related to accommodations, venue bookings, and facilitation. For this reason, we do not offer refunds, but we do offer credit options:

30 to 60+ days before retreat start: 100% of your deposit will be credited toward another Sacred Seed retreat within 12 months.

20 to 29 days before retreat start: 50% of your deposit will be credited toward another retreat within 12 months. The other 50% is non-transferable and non-refundable.

19 days or fewer before retreat start: No credit or refund will be issued. However, in exceptional circumstances (medical emergencies, family loss, etc.), we may offer a one-time credit on a case-by-case basis.

IF WE CANCEL THE RETREAT:
In the unlikely event that Sacred Seed must cancel due to natural disaster, political instability, illness, or any unforeseen force majeure, your payment will be fully transferred to a rescheduled retreat date.
Please note: Sacred Seed is not responsible for airfare, travel costs, lodging, or other personal expenses incurred due to cancellation or postponement.
