The Ritual: Morning Grounding in 3 Steps
Step 1: Wake up without grabbing your phone
Seriously. Even if just for 5 minutes. Let your body wake up before your brain checks notifications.
Step 2: Place both hands over your heart and belly
Breathe deeply. Inhale through your nose, slow exhale through your mouth. Do this 5 times.
Feel your body arrive. No need to “fix” anything — just feel.
Step 3: Set an intention
Ask yourself: What do I need today?
Say it out loud or silently. Keep it simple.
Examples: “Be gentle.” “Feel the ground.” “Stay open.”
That’s it. You’re done. And you’ve already shifted.

It’s nervous system regulation — grounding your body before the stressors kick in.
